## Pitching your Research * Describe your research to others. ## Milestone 1 Objectives * Create a "Project" folder inside your shared folder, and place the documents below in there. * Produce a full outline for each of the documents that you have to produce: - Research whitepaper surveying prior work and describing a future agenda - Grant one-pager that describes why such work should be funded - 30-minute research presentation - 10-minute general audience presentation - Popular-science article * For the whitepaper, grant one-pager, and popular-science article: - Outline the documents down to the section, subsection, subsubsection, and paragraph (topic sentence) level - Bullet/outline form is what you should aim for, not complete sentences * For the presentations: - Outline the slides you might make in terms of content / flow - The format for these outlines is up to you
